Here is the first trailer for NBC’s upcoming series, Day One.

It reminds me somewhat of a cross between “Heroes“, “Lost” and dare I say, “FlashForward” (well, the trailer for FlashForward). The framework seems clear enough – a disparate group of people have to work together to survive a global event. What isn’t so clear is WHAT took place? I hope they don’t go down the stereotypical “alien” route – if anything “V” has that covered. The ambiguity is intriguing however – it will probably lead me to watch the pilot and maybe a few episodes after that.

I’m not totally sold on the trailer, some of the ‘moments’ had me rolling my eyes. That said, Day One looks like it has potential.
